Description
This is the top-tier Badlands trim. Detailed explanation: In most cases, a standard Bronco Sport comes with a 1.5 Turbo engine and a standard AWD system. The Badlands, however, is equipped with a 2.0 Turbo engine, producing approximately 250 horsepower, and is built with a completely different off-road system. The biggest difference is the Twin-Clutch 4x4 system. In standard AWD systems, the computer simply distributes power between the front and rear axles. In the Badlands, there are two independent clutches on the rear axle, which allows the vehicle to send power to the left or right rear wheel individually. What does this mean in practice? If one wheel slips in mud or on rocks, a standard AWD often loses traction. The Badlands, however, sends power to the wheel that has traction and keeps moving. Additionally, the Badlands features special G.O.A.T. modes: โข Normal โ Daily driving โข Eco โ Economical mode โข Sport โ Faster response โข Sand โ For sand โข Mud/Ruts โ For mud โข Rock Crawl โ For rocky and difficult terrain In Rock Crawl mode, the vehicle moves very gently even with the slightest movement of the gas pedal to maintain maximum control over difficult obstacles. Also, the Badlands has: a more powerful 2.0 Turbo engine, reinforced suspension, additional off-road electronics, Trail Control (off-road cruise control), Trail Turn Assist, and a top-tier interior. That is why the Badlands is considered the most complete and off-road-capable version of the Bronco Sport. This is not just a Bronco Sport โ this is a Bronco Sport Badlands.
