For sale Renault Vel Satis, 2005. Engine 3.5 liter Nissan (same engine in Murano and Infiniti) – V6. Gearbox AISIN (Japan) — used on Nissan, Volvo, and Saab. World's first business hatchback. French President Nicolas Sarkozy used such a car for 2 years. Car was bought for restoration, a lot has been done and many new parts are left, but I no longer have time for it. If finished, you will have a rare, large, and powerful car, spare parts for which are freely available. Purchased and done: Replaced small engine mount Purchased large engine mount (400 GEL) — not needed yet New oil (another set in stock) New spark plugs New brake fluid New coolant Restored electric mirror drive Climate control works and cools Intake valves cleaned Fuel system cleaner poured Second key card made New brake pads on all wheels New valve cover (one of two) Good rims, normal tires, spare wheel Car has not been in serious accidents. Had scratches a few times, so it was completely repainted in matte black to avoid color matching issues (previous owner's wife drove it). Preferable for restoration, not for parts — a lot of labor and resources invested. Service manuals in Russian and French included. Three things needed: Purchase seat belt (can be ordered from Belarus or Europe) Replace oil pump bushing (in gearbox) — this small ring always cracks on these boxes at this mileage; ring already purchased, just need to replace and wash Replace oil scraper rings — engine smokes, but runs Gearbox is old, but will last after this work.
